Your skills and experience
There is no single path for becoming an IFS ERP consultant, especially because there are so many different types of roles in this niche area.
But as an IFS specialist, you’ll need to understand the various IFS versions from Apps 7.5 to IFS Cloud.
Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in the enterprise software industry, either as a contractor or in a permanent role. Or perhaps you’ve worked as an ERP superuser at a company.
You’ll need to be happy working closely with different businesses and their teams, and it’s helpful if you have project management experience.
